John Burton-Race's The New Angel restaurant to relocate

The 54-cover restaurant opened at Chepstow Place in April last year and has since been awarded three AA Rosettes.
However, the team has further ambitions for the site which exceed its current capacity.
Burton-Race said: “I wanted a restaurant in Notting Hill and finding suitable locations here is tough, so I took the existing one and sacrificed on kitchen space. In the new site I’ll finally have the space to execute all of the ideas I have been creating through the four years I recently spent away from a restaurant kitchen. It’s going to be pretty special!”
The new venue will feature a bespoke bar area and ‘creatively designed’ private dining spaces.
Full details of the location of the new restaurant will be released nearer the opening date, though it is confirmed it will operate within the same area as the current site.
Trading will cease at the Chepstow Place site after 30 May, with the restaurant reopening at its new premises on 25 September.
