The 56-cover offering will continue to serve authentic tonkotsu ramen alongside new dishes including fried chicken, gyoza and korokke.
An extended drinks menu will feature the addition of bottled cocktails, rare Japanese beers and a larger wine selection.
Designed to have a 'sleeker' look, the new site will be split between two floors, with bookable tables for larger parties of six.
Kanda-Ya was founded by Kanada Kazuhiro in Japan in 2009, with the ramen created using a specially researched, labour intensive technique.
Speaking to BigHospitality last year, the UK’s restaurant director Aaron Burgess-Smith said: “We are very authentic. We are trying to translate what's happening in Japan and moving it to Hong Kong and London. He [Kazuhiro] approached various places in Japan to learn [how to make ramen], but they’re all very secretive about the process, so he basically started from scratch.”
Kanada-Ya will open for lunch and dinner at 3 Panton Street, London, SW1Y 4DL.
