JD Wetherspoon is investing £9m in opening four more hotels over the next 10 weeks. 

The pub operator plans to open hotels at existing pub sites in Camborne, Worcester and Barrow while a hotel at Tavistock will be part of a new pub development planned to open on 21 July. 

The move will offer 127 more bedrooms and take JD Wetherspoon's hotel estate to 1,000 bedrooms across 40 properties. . 

JD Wetherspoon chairman Tim Martin said: “Our hotels continue to prove popular and we are confident that the four new hotels will be a great asset to their respective pubs and towns in which they are located. 

“Our hotels offer excellent accommodation and facilities and have the great advantage for the traveller of being located alongside our pubs.” 

All Wetherspoon hotels feature an en suite bathroom, unlimited free Wi-Fi, flatscreen television with Freeview TV, tea and coffee making facilities.
