Arora Hotels has appointed Carl Chapman director of food and beverage at the InterContinental London – The O2. Chapman, who joins the team from Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in Canada, will oversee all food and drink operations at the 453-bedroom hotel when it opens later this year.
Chapman worked at The Savoy and Simpsons on the Strand, Claridge's, Hyatt Regency Churchill, Hilton and Guoman before heading out to Canada to work for Fairmont.
Carl has extensive London experience having worked prior to Fairmont at The Savoy and Simpsons in the Strand, where he was headhunted to oversee the re-opening following years of restoration, along with private dining, events and food and beverage management roles with Claridges, Hyatt Regency Churchill, Hilton and Guoman in the capital.
