Former Sketch head pastry chef Dale DeSimone has joined Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel as executive pastry chef.
In his new role DeSimone will lead a team of nine pastry chefs at the hotel, overseeing operations for 300 events in its Great Room every year. He will also lead pastry across all Ballroom events, 86 Park Lane meetings and conferences, Executive Lounge, afternoon tea in the Park Room, JW Steakhouse, Park Lane Market and In Room Dining for 496 bedrooms and suites.
He said: “The history, scale and prestige of Grosvenor House is incredible and it is a privilege to be appointed as executive pastry chef. I am looking forward to bringing my experience, applying it to the intricacies of such a large hotel and exploring new and exciting opportunities for guests.”
