Whitbread invests further in Premier Inn
Whitbread is investing in its Premier Inn chain to keep the quality of the buildings and bedrooms to a high standard.

It has hired Fusion Building Consultancy for a two-year major refurbishment programme of thousands of its hotel bedrooms.

Jim Francis, head of refurbishment at Whitbread Hotels & Restaurants, said: "Whitbread is investing significantly and effectively into growing the Premier Inn estate and keeping it in outstanding condition.

“Delivering quality, consistency and value to our customers is central to our brand.  Partnering with proven experts like Fusion Building Consultancy brings insight, enthusiasm and experience into our team and we're looking forward to developing our relationship further and ensuring the best results across our estate of more than 700 UK Premier Inn hotels."

Fusion Building Consultancy will work across the multinational’s portfolio, including the overhaul of 3,083 of bedrooms and bathrooms for 44 Premier Inns as well as completing numerous building surveys across Whitbread’s Beefeater estate.

In June, Premier Inn revealed that it had secured £18m top open new hotels in Gloucester, Newbury and Monmouth.
