The Zetter Group has announced the first year results of its scheme to share profits with staff - believed to be the first of its kind in the UK hospitality sector.

The firm has paid out an extra 1.9 weeks of salary to its employees in addition to existing bonuses including annual travel card loans and referral incentives of up to £1,000.

Open to those who have been with the company for two years or more, the scheme distributes profits across all staff at the group's venues including The Zetter Townhouse and Bruno Loubet's Grain Store restaurant in King’s Cross.

It also aims to improve staff retention and increase communication with employees by holding quarterly briefings demonstrating how staff efforts are impacting on financial results.

Jason Catifeoglou, partner of The Zetter Group said: "In this first year of the bonus pool we are delighted at how it’s been received by our teams.

“We hope it demonstrates the value we place on loyalty and longevity and recognizes that without our excellent colleagues none of this would be possible.

“We are very excited about the growth of the scheme in the years to come and hope many other hospitality businesses will follow suit."
