The new 200-cover 4,500 sqft restaurant will open within a unit at the city's Bromley Place following a £500k re-fit.
Zaap Nottingham follows the opening of Zaap Leeds in May. The brand serves dishes like those found in a Bangkok street food market with décor and fittings such as neon lighting and tuk tuks designed to reflect the same.
Zaap owner Ban Kaewkraikhot, said: “Everyone at Zaap is thrilled and excited at the prospect of bringing our Thai street food revolution to Nottingham. We can’t wait to give the people of this great city a true taste of Bangkok and have them share in our passion for all the wonderful flavours of its food and give them an experience of real Thai culture and traditions.”
Kaewkraikhot said the company had four to six sites 'in the pipeline' for 2016 with the potential to have 10 sites in operation by the end of next year.
