Gold Service Reward trip: Bordeaux 2015

The Gold Service Scholarship has awarded some of the best young front of house staff in the country with a trip to the French wine destination Bordeaux. BigHospitality joined the group to get a taste of the region.

Gold Service Scholarship winner Daniele Quattromini of ClubLounge39 was joined on the trip by Lainston House Hotel’s James O’Keeffe, Matthew Balman of Buckingham Palace, Ronald Rosario of The Capital Hotel and Nicholas Winfield of Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons.

The 2015 finalists visited Bordeaux for a wine tasting trip around the region, taking in the world-famous wine destinations and vineyards, courtesy of The Bordeaux Wine Council (CIVB).

The scholarship is aimed at young service professionals and offers them a series of prizes, opportunities and contacts that will help advance their careers.
