Hilton Bournemouth has appointed a senior management team to manage the town's new hotel.
Cedric Horgnies is the hotel's general manager, Calum Manekshaw takes the position of director of operations, and Rachel Smith has been appointed as director of sales.
Horgnies, who has over 20-years of experience which has seen him travel the world, said: "Bournemouth is a fantastic place to live for leisure, social and career opportunities, which makes Hilton the ideal addition to this vibrant town. If you look across the skyline, Bournemouth is peppered with cranes and construction – it’s such an exciting time to join Bournemouth as it really is flourishing.
"The team we are building here to launch the hotel will be pivotal to its success and I am delighted to lead this force. We have a superb mix of personality, skill and experience which, combined, I have no doubt will ensure the hotel launches to a flying start.”
Manekshaw, whose previous employment includes being the deputy manager of food and beverage at Hilton Edinburgh, said: "I truly believe that Bournemouth is the perfect location to host our new Hilton hotel. We are increasing the international hospitality offering which will only contribute to Bournemouth’s regeneration and see it become one of the most desirable locations for leisure and tourism on the south coast."
