The launch of Neighbourhood, which specialises in all-day dining while focusing on rotisserie-cooked meats and artisan beers, follows the success of its first site in London’s East Village.
Serving from breakfast through to dinner, Neighbourhood’s menu will include rotisserie roasted chicken and Robata-cooked seafood and steaks. Also on the menu is marinated ribs, a selection of burgers and small plates dishes that include Spicy Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Grilled Sardines, Barbecue Pork Hash and Cockney Caviar.
The drinks menu includes the Czech Republic’s ‘oldest beer’, Krušovice, as well as 13 lagers on tap and an ever-changing selection of cask ales.
The 180-cover open-plan restaurant and bar will have a warehouse feel with mismatched furniture, blues, oranges and reds, along with exposed piping, salvaged screens and industrial light fixtures overhead.
Steve Cox, managing director of Faucet Inn, said: “we are delighted to be bringing our popular neighbourhood concept to the bustling and cosmopolitan city of Southampton. Like East Village in London, it will offer a relaxed urban space perfect for locals to enjoy a drink or fuss-free dining any time of the day.”
