Hilton has announced Matthew Budden's appointment as the executive chef of its new Bournemouth hotel.
Budden has over a decade of experience working in AA Rosette and Michelin-listed kitchens.
Cedric Horgnies, general manager, Hilton Bournemouth, said: “We are very lucky to have Matthew on board at Hilton Bournemouth as executive chef. He is from Bournemouth and worked here a number of years so knows the town inside out. Matthew is always highly involved in both Bournemouth and Dorset food festivals making him an ideal candidate for us. His skill, expertise and talent makes him a fantastic addition to our hotel."
Budden said: “I am thrilled to be joining the team and really looking forward to working with Matt Tebbutt on the brilliant food offering at Hilton Bournemouth. Modern British sharing plates with fresh seasonal ingredients will be available at Schpoons & Forx and a great bar menu will be on offer at our LEVEL8IGHT Sky Bar to compliment the delicious cocktails. We are bringing something truly different and exciting to the town.”
