Ian Penn has been appointed as the head chef at Horseradish, an award-winning events management and catering division of Chester Race Company.
Penn, from Stone in Staffordshire, will oversee the running of the operation, ensuring that all clients receive the highest standard of food experience. His position will also see him develop concepts, food styles and assist in growing the reputation of the Horseradish brand.
Penn said: “I’m delighted to be appointed Head Chef at Horseradish. It’s an exciting, dynamic and rapidly growing brand, delivering restaurant standard food to a fast growing range of clients, whether for 25 people at Tatton Park, 3000 on a race day or 900 at Liverpool Cathedral, the standards are just as exacting . With this in mind I’ll be working hard to ensure we maintain these standards, with a clear focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency.”
