Lilly Simpson, founder of The Detox Kitchen, has announced plans to open a new flagship deli in London’s Fitzrovia district on 4 January.

The deli will be set across two floors with the ground floor’s salad and juice bar serving signature salads and green juices from a menu comprising of favourites from the first deli in Kingly Street, Soho, while the downstairs floor will host a fully-equiped fitness studio.

Simpson’s menu, which aims to bridge the gap between healthy and delicious food, will included Griddled Sweet Potato, Red Onion, Soya Yoghurt and Honey Pecans; Miso Abubergine, Sesame Sees and Coriander; King Prawn, Quinoa, Courgette and Basil Pesto, and Beetroot Brownie.

The eatery will be designed to create a relaxed home-away-from-home feel with a floor-to-ceiling living wall growing herbs and fresh fruit. Leather banquettes, low-level lighting and personalised artwork will complete the look.
