Ben-Harmer-Queens-Hotel
The Queens Hotel Cheltenham, an MGallery by Sofitel hotel, has appointed Ben Harmer head chef of its restaurant.
Harmer, who began his career at The Savoy Hotel before working at Le Gavroche and Rick Stein's The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, joins the hotel following its re-launch as a member of the luxury MGallery by Sofitel collection last September.
The chef has created a new menu for the refurbished restaurant which focuses on quality, locally-sourced ingredients such as fresh seafood, local game and artisanal local cheeses.
Yasmin Keen, general manager of Queens Hotel, said: “We’re very pleased to welcome Ben to the restaurant at Queens Hotel, he brings with him a passion for quality dining, and a wealth of experience that has allowed him to develop this inspired new menu."
