Damien Hirst has launched his second attempt to crack the London food scene after closing his Notting Hill Pharmacy restaurant in 2003.
The artist has opened Pharmacy 2 in Vauxhall's Newport Street Gallery, with Mark Hix behind the food offering.
Dishes are French and European and include Dublin Bay prawns with Arak, wild garlic and fennel pilaf and Willies Peruvian Gold chocolate mousse with honeycomb.
Hix said: "Damien designed a formaldehyde ‘Cock and Bull’ for my restaurant Tramshed so it makes sense for me to exchange my skills by creating the menus at Pharmacy 2.“
