Owned by restaurateurs Levent Buyukugur and Sanjay Nandi (pictured), founders of the Good Food Society, the 4,814sq ft, 150-cover restaurant is on Baker Street and will replace the former Indali Lounge. Hus Vedat, previously of Jamie Oliver’s barbecue restaurant Barbecoa, will be head chef.
The site will be neighbours to a number of high-profile restaurants including Galvin Bistrot de Luxe, Purl, Chiltern Firehouse, L’Autre Pied.
Buyukugur and Nandi previously opened the London Mayfair site Ristorante Frescobaldi as part of their work with the Good Food Society, with Italian wine family the Frescobaldis.
Leisure specialists Restaurant Property advised on the deal.
