Chef Christian Honor - who previously worked with Gordon Ramsay - is to open his second London restaurant this May.

Honor worked for Ramsay at Royal Hospital Road and spent four years at The Dorchester before deciding to open his first Chriskitch café in Muswell Hill in 2013.

Now the chef is bringing his ‘unique’ style of food to Chriskitch Hoxton, with a daily changing menu based on market produce.

Describing his cooking, Honor said: “I think in terms of combinations.  Mix up the flavours and textures and, at the same time, make it appeal to the eye. Mostly I add a good pinch of the unexpected.”

Sample dishes include Butter Champagne Poached Oysters served with Truffles, Scrambled Eggs and topped with Caviar; and Plank Salmon cooked on an open grill.

All beers will be sourced from the local Hoxton Micro Brewery, and Honor will be serving his own special cola with lavender, cinnamon and burnt sugar.

Chriskitch Hoxton will open at the beginning of May 2016 at 5 Hoxton Market, N1 6HG.
