Members of the industry are being invited to take part in the annual Mayfair Power and Tower Race to help support Galvin's Chance, the charity set up by Chris Galvin and Fred Sirieix.

The initiative, run by the DM Thomas Foundation and The Springboard Charity, will take place on 3 June and will see participants run 5km around Hyde Park before dashing up a flight of 28 stairs to Galvin at Windows where they'll be greeted by a Champagne breakfast.

All money raised from the event will be used to support Galvin's Chance, the charity set up in 2009 by Galvin and Sirieix to help disadvantaged young people.

Galvin's Chance targets those aged 18-24 who are not in education or employment, offering them training and opportunities for a front of house career in hotels, restaurants and foodservice businesses. The initiative is delivered through principal partnership arrangements with the DM Thomas Foundation for Young People and The Springboard Charity.

The registration fee to enter is £15 and participants have a fundraising target of £100. To find out more about the event and to sign up click here.
