Sachin Khanna – the former operator of the Raffles and Libertine nightclubs - is to open a new grill restaurant in London.

MeatUP promises to offer ‘bubbles, beats and a new flavour of British BBQ’ when it opens in Wandsworth in June.

Guests will be able to enjoy fresh lobster, ribs, steaks and shellfish alongside a programme of live music and DJ’s.

Khanna has drawn on his nightlife experience to create a floor-to-ceiling bar designed for ‘serious drinking’, with Prosecco sourced from Bibendum, craft beers from Meantime Brewery, and classic cocktails.

MeatUP will feature a 50-cover dining area complete with kitchen counter and communal seating, a 37-cover floor to ceiling bar, and outside area with six covers.

Keane Designs – the designers behind Burger & Lobster and Manchester House – have created an ‘urban’ space intended to channel downtown Manhattan.

MeatUP will open at 350 Old York Road, Wandsworth Town, London SW18 1SS.
