From restaurateur Kurt Zdesar and his usual team (including chef Jordan Sclare of Chotte Matte), this 60-cover site is set to become one of London’s most high-profile ‘poke’ bars (pronounced ‘poh-kay’), with a menu inspired by the Pacific Rim. The Mayfair venue will offer dishes using raw fish and grilled meats, such as the ahi and yellowtail poke with yuzu salsa; English rock oysters with Maui onion salsa; and smoky lamb rack with a coconut and piquillo reduction. There will also be a 20-capacity chef’s table within the open kitchen, surrounded by tanks of fresh seafood.
