Located right next door to his well-known venture the Dairy in London’s Clapham, Counter Culture is Robin Gill’s new small plates-focused venue, on the site of what was The Delicatessen. A new direction for the chef – who also runs Paradise Garage and the Manor ‒ it is aimed at a more night-time crowd and serves sharing plates using seasonal ingredients, with a focus on preserved, pickled and fermented flavours, building on the style of cuisine seen next door. Currently BYOB, it is expecting to get a license allowing it to serve cocktails and drinks soon.
