Nadler Hotels acquires Covent Garden site

The group is set to launch an ‘affordable’ venue in a five-storey former office block on the corner of Strand and Bedford Street.
When complete it will be the fourth Nadler site in the capital and fifth overall, joining venues in Kensington, Soho, Victoria and Liverpool.
Robert Nadler, CEO of Nadler Hotels, said: “Our objective has always been to deliver four-star rooms with five-star service based around an ethos of sustainability, and this new hotel will be no different, complementing both the area and our existing locations.”
Lloyd Davis, partner at Gerald Eve, who acted for Nadler Hotels, described the site as ‘ideal’ for the group’s expansion in an area ‘currently under-served by high quality yet affordable accommodation’.
It is Nadler’s first acquisition following the opening of the 73-room Nadler Victoria opposite Buckingham Palace at the end of 2015.
The new venue will be just down the road from actor Robert De Niro's planned 83-room luxury Wellington Hotel, set to open in Covent Garden in 2019.
