Peyotito from Mexican chef Eduardo Garcia to open in Notting Hill
Peyotito, a new Mexican-style restaurant with a menu curated by Eduardo Garcia of Maximo Bistrot – one of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants ‒ is to open in London’s Notting Hill.

Expected to open on 4 July at 31 Kensington Park Road, the 65-cover site will serve Mexican-inspired dishes from executive chef Garcia. Mainly gluten and dairy free, the options will be divided within six different areas – Ensaladas (salads), Crudo (raw), Tostadas (topped toasts), Masa (corn dough), Cebiche (ceviche raw fish) and Mole (traditional sauces).

The venue will also focus on cocktails, with an emphasis on tequila and mescal, with creations such as the signature Peyotito Margarita; a refined version of London’s shaken Margarita with a spicy Tajin rimmed glass, blanco tequila, Cointreau, agave syrup, lime juice and Mezcal vial; and the Mescalero, a twist on the classic Peruvian Sour.

Guests will also be able to book the private dining room, and there will be Latin lounge music throughout the entire venue.

Garcia’s restaurant in Mexico City was listed at number 41 on the most recent Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2015, and is known for its French-Mexican dishes and emphasis on sustainability.

He also runs the nearby Lalo! restaurant in Mexico City, which seats 30 people along one long bench and serves an Italian-Mexican-style casual menu.
