Fine dining restaurant Mora to open in Marylebone

The 58-cover, 89 George Street site will offer dishes aiming to be modern with “a fusion twist”, and be open Monday to Saturday from 6pm until 11.30pm.
Typical starters will include red tuna spaghetti, and scallops marinated with fennel; mains such as turbot fillet with black truffle and salted butter, and spaghetti with bone marrow ragu and saffron; and desserts such as Chocolate Lava Cake with fresh ricotta, or panna cotta served with strawberry coulis and chocolate crumble.
There will also be a wide selection of wines and cocktails.
The site will also have an 18-seat private dining room, and an outside terrace seating 14.
Design will be from Dale Atkinson of RoseandDale Design, and will feature a hand-painted, textured wall; a leather booth, vintage kitchenware, and antique mirrors.
General manager will be Moe Redissi, who brings years of similar experience to the role.
Commenting on the new opening, Redissi said: “Mora is set to be Marylebone’s new eating and drinking destination and the place to see and be seen.”
