Enterprise Inns and the Marylebone Leisure Group (MLG) have teamed up to launch new venture, the Marmalade Pub Company.

The new launch marks Enterprise’s fifth managed expert agreement, as part of its strategy to partner with managed house operators.

Founded by Ben Avigdori and Lawrence Santi in 2011, MLG now has six sites across London, including the Marylebone, Clerkenwell & Social, Bar Italia in Uxbridge and The Princess of Wales in Primrose Hill.

It focuses on infused spirits and liqueurs, which are made in the company’s in-house laboratories.

Enterprise Inns was established in 1991, and now pitches itself as a specialist operator of leased and tenanted pubs across the UK, offering operators the chance to run a supported pub business with the benefit of the group’s added expertise and resources.

Simon Townsend, chief executive of Enterprise Inns, said: “We are delighted to be working with the MLG team who have quickly built a reputation for quality sites that offer customers a great experience.”

Ben Avigdori said: “The opportunity to partner with the largest pub freeholder in the UK is one which we simply could not turn down. Enterprise brings an obvious depth of possibilities with them and our experience as a multi-site bar operator stands us in good stead to maximise the potential within their estate.”
