Wadworth – the South West brewer and pub operator – has opened the doors of its first London site, The King’s Arms in Fulham.

The pub has launched following a £300,000 renovation, including the installation of a new kitchen, pizza oven, and a ‘retro’ courtyard for the summer months.

It will be managed under Wadworth’s premium segment - Great Pub, Great Food – and serve the brewer’s 6X ale.

Wadworth currently runs over 200 pubs across the South West of Britain.

Chris Welham, CEO at Wadworth, said: “We are really happy to welcome The King’s Arms into the Wadworth family. The move into London is in line with our long term growth plans for the company.

“It is a great opportunity for Wadworth to expand and make our mark on the capital, and we hope the customers love the new look and feel of The King’s Arms.”

Wadworth has been brewed in Devizes, Wiltshire since 1875 and is now run by the fourth generation descendants of its founding partner John Smith Bartholomew.
