London meat and tapas bar LOBOS is to open its second site, in Soho’s Frith Street, in mid-November.

From Roberto Castro, former head chef at Spanish tapas group Tapas Brindisa, the 80-cover restaurant and bar will be open for lunch and dinner seven days’ a week, and follows the first LOBOS site, which opened in Borough Market in summer 2015.

Spread over three floors, the new venue will feature a basement drinking bar, a charcuterie bar, and an open-plan kitchen on the first floor.

Castro will create the usual range of meat-based tapas and charcuterie dishes seen at the original Lobos – such as plates with chorizo, eggs, candied bacon, peppers, and olives ‒ but will also create a selection of new tapas plates for the new site.

The bar will focus on serving cocktails, alongside Spanish wines, sherry, and cava.
