The team behind Borough Market charcuterie stall Cannon & Cannon are to launch their first restaurant in London next year.

Nape, a 45-cover British cured meat bar, will open on Camberwell Church Street in south London in February 2017.

Cannon & Cannon has been spearheading the British ‘charcuterie revolution’ since 2010, working with producers across the country to sell meat through market stalls and online.

Now the team are bringing their cured, air-dried and smoked produce to a permanent site.

Nape’s ‘simple’ menu will include plates of East Sussex Pork and Fennel Salami; Duck, Pork and Sichuan Pepper Sausages; and the signature House Nape.

Guests can also order larger dishes such as West Country Beef with Hazelnuts, Rapeseed Oil and Tarragon; toasties from the bar; and doughnuts from Bread Ahead.

Many of the meats will be available to takeaway, sliced to-order, alongside selected beers and refillable bottles of wine.

Nape will open as an informal pop-up from 8-24 December before the site fully launches in February 2017.
