Bath Priory to open UK's first L'Occitane spa
French skincare brand L’Occitane is to open its first UK spa at the five-star Bath Priory hotel later this month.

The Garden Spa by L’Occitane will replace the hotel’s existing spa and offer exclusive treatments created with the luxury brand when it launches on 28 November.

Guests will be able to enjoy new treatment rooms themed around ingredients such as lavender, a ’relaxation room’, nail bar, and retail space for L’Occitane products.

The spa will also offer specially designed treatments for men and pregnant women.

The Bath Priory - part of the Brownsword Hotel group - is the latest hotel to invest in its spa offering in a bid to cater to the growing numbers of people taking ‘wellness’ holidays in the UK.

BDRC Continental research has found that young travellers aged 20-34 are more willing to pay a premium for a UK spa break than for a standard overseas trip.

Cosmetic brand L’Occitane was founded in 1976 and currently operates over 80 spas in 26 countries worldwide.
