The Cinnamon Collection's new relaxed all-day dining concept Cinnamon Bazaar is a 90-cover 3,100 sq ft site featuring a large bar on its ground floor (with a cocktail menu created by Ryan Chetiyawardana). Chef Vivek Singh's menu includes traditional parathas served at breakfast time, while small plates of Kolkata spiced cod and Indo-Chinese stir-fried chicken with chilies are options for lunch or snacks. Bigger plates such as chargrilled Chettinad lamb or Kerala boatman-style smoked haddock curry will also feature alongside Vivek’s quirky take on Afternoon Tea – High Chai. Designed by LSM Design, the main dining room uses a bold colour palette and organic, natural materials inspired by India, colourful hand painted graphics, printed tiles and illuminated hanging lanterns. The Covent Garden restaurant is expected to be the first of several sites expected to open in London and the South East under what has become The Cinnamon Collection's fourth brand.
