Established in 1978, the group set professional standards in the hotel industry and offer scholarships to support the sector's future talent.
Applications are open to candidates from all backgrounds, who must be able to prove their ability to exceed guest expectations, have ‘exemplary’ business management skills and remain dedicated to improving professional standards.
Stuart Bowery FIH MI, chairman of the Master Innholders, said: “The accolade of being a Master Innholder brings wide recognition, helping hoteliers to positively influence standards in the sector.
“It’s an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed and I strongly encourage all hoteliers who fit the criteria to apply.”
To be considered for the honour, candidates must complete an application form accompanied by a short paper detailing their management approach and what they will bring to the Master Innholders.
Applicants must demonstrate a minimum experience of five years in significant hotel general management, either as a general manager, hotel manager or director of operations.
The final deadline for applications is 30 January 2017.
