Hilton is to open a new high-rise hotel in Woking, Surrey as part of a £500m regeneration of the town.

The company has signed a management agreement with Bandstand Square Developments Limited (BSDL) to launch a 196-room property in the upcoming Victoria Square retail and residential development.

Hilton said the hotel would play an ‘integral role’ in the regeneration of Woking town centre when it opens in early 2021.

The site is set to include a Sky Bar, all-day restaurant, on-site coffee shop and 700 sq.ft of meeting space, including a ballroom for up to 500 guests.

It will be the second Hilton to open in Woking, following the launch of a DoubleTree by Hilton in the town in 2016.

“The new hotel will offer everything guests require for a relaxing and productive stay, while being located in a fast-growing town with a strong business base,” said Cllr John Kingsbury, director of BSDL and leader of Woking Borough Council.

Hilton operates nearly 4,900 hotels in 104 countries worldwide across 14 brands including Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Garden Inn and Conrad Hotels & Resorts.
