Chef Marco Pierre White is to open his third Steakhouse Bar & Grill restaurant in partnership with hotel management firm Valor Hospitality Europe.

The 160-cover site will occupy the top floor of the Holiday Inn Plymouth, which is set to relaunch under the Crowne Plaza brand in April.

It will be the chef’s 17th steakhouse to open in the UK under a franchise agreement with Black and White Hospitality.

Valor, which manages 19 hotels nationwide, currently operates two other Steakhouse Bar & Grill restaurants in Chester and Liverpool.

White said the new opening would offer ‘affordable glamour’ for ‘every taste and budget’.

Dishes will include Welsh Rarebit; Chicken Kiev; and a selection of 28-day aged native breed steaks.

Nick Taplin, CEO of Black & White Hospitality, said: “After the success we’ve had working with Valor across the country, we’re certain this latest partnership at the new Crowne Plaza hotel will be a resounding success.”

Black & White Hospitality owns the franchise rights to five of White’s restaurant brands, including Wheeler’s of St. James’s, Steakhouse Bar & Grill, Mr. White’s English Chophouse, Marco’s New York Italian and Bardolino Espresso & Bellini Bar.
