The event, which hopes to welcome 12,000 visitors, will take place 19-21 May, and will give guests a taste of Kerridge’s well-known pubs - also in Marlow - the two-Michelin-starred Hand & Flowers, and the nearby Coach. Both pubs were listed in the top 100 restaurants at the 2016 National Restaurant Awards (The Hand & Flowers was at 33, and The Coach was at 59).
Dishes from other pubs across the UK – chosen by Kerridge ‒ will also be making an appearance, with each pub taking part offering taster-sized portions of their signature dishes.
There will also be live cooking demonstrations from chefs, plus giant pub games next to the river.
Drinks will be from Rebellion Beer and wine group Harrow & Hope.
Kerridge is also finalising a musical line-up with some of his preferred headline UK bands.
Kerridge commented: “What a fantastic opportunity to have a family and friends party. This is going to be a great celebration of everything that the brilliant British pub stands for – food, drink, music and fun; right next to the River Thames, and all served up by a supporting cast of great chefs, restaurants, bands, pubs and breweries.”
