The siblings behind Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Gymkhana are to open a third outpost of their delivery-only restaurant in London.

The Sethi family’s JKS Restaurants group will launch Motu Indian Kitchen in Canary Wharf on 20 February.

It will be based out of a RooBox, one of Deliveroo’s remote kitchens, and follows the opening of the first two sites in Battersea and Camberwell last year.

Motu, which means ‘fat man’ in Hindi, is designed to offer a more ‘refined’ take on the traditional Indian takeaway, with main dishes ranging from £9 - £12.50.

The Canary Wharf kitchen will offer new menu items including lamb seekh kebab naan roll; indo-Chinese chilli panner; and daily specials such as lamb chop masala and a whole tandoori chicken.

It will be open for lunch and dinner, delivering to the surrounding areas including Limehouse, Poplar, Millwall and Cubitt Town.

RooBox is designed to help restaurants expand without the costs of opening an additional site.

The Sethi family’s restaurant portfolio also includes Michelin-starred Trishna and Hoppers, which won a Michelin Bib Gourmand last year.
