Gino D’Acampo My Restaurant will serve ‘real Italian food’ with a menu inspired by dishes from the chef’s books and television programmes.
The 150-cover site will include an open kitchen, deli and My Prosecco Bar with over 40 varieties of prosecco and wines available by the glass.
It will be the fourth My Restaurant to open since D’Acampo launched the brand with Individual Restaurants and Piccolino owner Steven Walker in Manchester in 2015.
A further two sites have since launched in London’s Euston station and Leeds, and openings are planned for Harrogate and Liverpool this July.
“I can’t wait to open My Restaurant right in the heart of trendy Camden,” says D’Acampo.
“Twenty years ago I worked as head chef at Pane Vino, in nearby Kentish Town, so it feels like I’m coming home.”
D’Acampo also runs the My Pasta Bar chain, which has three sites in London.
The chef is lining up further restaurant openings in major cities and travel hubs both in the UK and internationally.
