The British Hospitality Association (BHA) has helped to create a news and current affairs-style TV programme that explores the future of the hospitality industry.

360⁰ Perspective is presented by national newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky, and seeks to investigate how the hospitality and tourism industries can work together to improve business and customer experiences.

It is available to see on the BHA’s website.

It features interviews with leading hospitality figures, and also shows sponsored editorial profiles of businesses hoping to effect change in the industry, including  the Altus Group, Barclays, Deliveroo and Rational UK.

It also aims to consider how to attract the next generation of hospitality and tourism staff, and raise the reputation of the UK among tourists and visitors.

The programme was created by the BHA, working with ITN Productions, and premiered on 6 June at the BHA’s Hospitality and Tourism Summit, at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London.

“The programme we are launching amplifies the significant role hospitality and tourism plays in the UK,” says Ufi Ibrahim, chief executive of the BHA. “This programme captures perspectives on UK hospitality from all corners of our industry, and reviews the opportunities and risks affecting prospects for growth and its continued expansion.”

“ITN Productions has been delighted to partner with the British Hospitality Association,” says Simon Shelley, head of industry news at ITN Productions. “It brings to life the views of the industry from a plethora of influential faces in the world of hospitality. We hope that the programme will engage and inform viewers from across the sector and shape the future of such an important industry."

It is not the first time that ITN and the BHA have teamed up: In 2015 they created a similar news programme about the value of hospitality.
