The chain is to launch counters in M&S Foodhalls, serving freshly prepared sushi and hot meals.
The stands will initially be trialled in Milton Keynes and London stores in Marble Arch, Oxford Street, Kingston, and Stratford.
Both M&S and Wasabi will take customer feedback on the trial to potentially develop and roll-out the counters to other sites.
“This partnership is extremely exciting for [us],” says Wasabi founder Dong Hyun Kim.
“Our customers know that they can expect high quality, affordable sushi and hot food from us. We’re delighted to have the opportunity to bring our expertise and innovation to M&S customers as well.”
Waitrose became the first UK supermarket to offer sushi in its Battersea store in 2015, and now runs 50 counters across the country.
Sainsbury’s has also begun rolling-out sushi bars in its stores via a partnership with Sushi Gourmet.
