The 10-strong group has secured several 5000 – 6,500 sq ft sites opening in Nottingham in December, Cardiff in March 2018 and Bristol in April 2018.
The company will also launch restaurants in Oxford and Manchester’s Media City later this year.
The roll-out comes two years after the former Living Ventures business was taken over by private equity firm Palatine, which also bought out Italian chain Gusto in 2014.
“The acquisitions will take us to 15 sites – which is a great achievement and testament to the hard work of the whole team,” says Simon Potts, managing director of The Alchemist.
“It’s a real joy to be able to announce positive plans for our continued growth at a time when there seems to be a lot of uncertainty in the sector.”
The Alchemist first opened its doors in Manchester in 2010 and serves main dishes ranging from burgers and tacos to ramen and chicken katsu curry.
