The restaurant is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a European tour, collaborating with three kitchens in Ibiza, Zurich and London.
The Magazine Restaurant at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, will host the London leg of the anniversary tour on 19 October, comprising a £95 four course dinner with paired wines and a cocktail.
The fully vegetarian plant based menu will comprise miso cucumber with vegetarian caviar, ricotta cheese, dill and hazelnut; corn porridge with coriander, spring onions, pepper and chili; parmesan dumplings with Perigord truffle stock, spinach, pine and sherry; and blueberries with celery, sorbet, crème and ‘chip’.
Organic and biodynamic wines from the restaurant’s own list, picked by host Jan Haring, will be paired with each course.
London-born ‘Cookie’ Heinz, owner of the restaurant, is one of Berlin’s best known faces in the hospitality scene. He launched Cookies Cream 2007 with chef Stephan Hentschel, placing emphasis on experimental, sustainable, vegetarian fine dining.
Cookies Cream has amassed an international following as well as accolades such as being awarded 16 points by influential French restaurant guide Gault&Millau.
