Owners Carlo Palumbo and Lorenzo Boldi have chosen 45 Grafton Way, previously the site of popular restaurant Sardo, to open the restaurant on 6 November.
The restaurant will consist of a 24-cover wine bar, a 60-cover dining area and a 45-cover private dining space.
The wine bar will have a choice of around 50 wines from Italian producers, alongside a menu of small plates and pasta designed by head chef Antonio Tonelli. Options will consist of choices such as bucatini all’amatriciana (tubular pasta with cured pork cheek, pecorino, red onions, tomato sauce); pizza with semi dried tomatoes, ‘nduja, and cime di rapa (broccoli raab); and arrosticini lamb skewers.
A separate menu, available in the 60-cover dining space, will comprise larger plates such as melanzane alla parmigiana; I gamberi alla Fra’Diavolo (spicy king prawns with tomato lobster sauce); beef, tuna and chicken tagliate; and a selection of pastas including crab linguine.
The original La Tagliata opened in Shoreditch in 2014.
