Dubbed ‘London’s alternative festive experience’, the pop-up town opens on 23 November and runs until 1 January 2018.
Winterville is the brainchild of the co-founders of Field Day and Street Feast, the latter of which operates popular street food locations in the capital including Hawker House in Canada Water, Giant Robot in Canary Wharf and Dinerama in Shoreditch. Street Feast will be co-ordinating all the food and drink, and says it will be showcasing food from some of London’s best traders.
Food operations at this year’s Winterville will include Rola Wala, Pop Dogs, Le Bao, Love Churros, Up In My Grill, White Men Can’t Jerk, Mother Clucker, Petare, SE Cakery and Chin Chin Dessert Bar.
There will be 17 food traders in total, as well as 15 bars.
Alongside the food and drink offer will be entertainment options, including Clapham Common’s first-ever ice rink, a UV-powered Plonk Golf crazy golf course, a fairground, a roller disco and Backyard Cinema, which will be screening Christmas classics in its Winter Night Garden.
