The team behind two popular north London pubs will launch a third this December.

Located on Green Lanes in Stoke Newington, Be-Bop-A-Lula will join James Patrick and Wesley Deaton’s nearby The Alma (voted as best pub in London in the Time Out Love London awards) and North by Northwest.

The pub will serve US diner and pub food. Small bar-snack style options will comprise mini pork sausages in honey mustard; and wings coated in BBQ or buffalo sauce.

Larger options will include the likes of the ‘Famous Elvis Sandwich’, (mashed banana, peanut butter and bacon on toasted bloomer bread); the ‘Hound Dog’ saveloy, with caramelised onions; the ‘Be Bop’ burger made with aged Scottish beef, tomatoes, gherkins, and mustard; and the ‘BB King’ ribs.

Dessert options include classic American pie or brownies, both served with ice cream.

Sunday roasts will be served, with a choice of meats and a vegetarian option, alongside traditional trimmings.

The décor will be themed around 50’s rock’n’roll, so the walls will be covered with posters from the era; there will be a jukebox; slot machines; record players; musical memorabilia; and vintage light fixtures.

The pub has secured a late license for weekends and will be open until 2am.
