Khos, derived from the Mongolian word for ‘pair’, is described as turning the ‘notion of a business hotel on its head’.
According to a jargon-heavy press release, the brand will ‘reconceive’ traditional hotel services to reflect a 'new age in hospitality in which business travel is inseparable from lifestyle'.
While Rosewood London is home to Holborn Dining Room, the Mirror Room and chef Calum Franklin's soon-to-open specialist pie kitchen, Khos' restaurant space will offer ‘authentic, artisanal, communal dining options’ inspired by culinary traditions from across Asia.
The location of the first Khos hotel will be announced in 2018, ahead of its opening later in the year.
The company is also planning to launch its second London hotel under the Rosewood brand at the former US embassy site on Grosvenor Square, as well as a Rosewood Hotel in Edinburgh in 2020.
Rosewood operates 59 hotels in 18 countries worldwide.
