Selin Kiazim, the chef behind Turkish restaurant Oklava, looks to be lining up a second London opening for later this spring.

According to a job advert posted on Code, Kiazim is recruiting senior chefs for both Oklava and a new launch which appears to be in Fitzrovia.

The chef opened Turkish restaurant Oklava in Shoreditch with her business partner Laura Christie in 2015, and it is recommended in the Michelin guide.

It is not clear whether the new restaurant will open under the Oklava moniker, but the advert states it will follow the same contemporary Turkish theme with a Mediterranean influence.

A representative for Kiazim told BigHospitality further details on the opening would be revealed at a later date.

Kiazim, who has Turkish-Cypriot heritage, worked for chef Peter Gordon at The Providores in Marylebone and later became head chef at his Kopapa restaurant in Covent Garden.

She was one of the four winning chefs on the 2017 series of Great British Menu, beating seven other finalists for the chance to serve dessert at a banquet celebrating 140 years of the Wimbledon tennis championships.
