The Publican Awards 2018 winners are announced
Last night saw the winners of this year’s 2018 Publican Awards announced during a ceremony at Battersea Evolution.

Over 1,400 guests attended the ceremony, which is hosted each year by Big Hospitality’s sister publication Morning Advertiser.

The awards night is the biggest and longest running award ceremony for the pub trade, and aims to reward operators who are pushing the industry forwards.

The award for Best Food Offer went to the Seafood Pub Company. Founded in 2011, the group now operates 11 sites across Lancashire and Yorkshire, and has a turnover of over £11m. Each venue has its own menu, and uses local produce.

The award for Best Premium Food Offer went to Red Mist Leisure, which operates eight pubs across Great Hampshire and Surrey. The food offerings are typically British, varying depending on the produce available in each pub’s local area.

Toby’s Carvery took home the award for Best Value Food Offer. Founded 30 years ago, the ‘home of the roast’ is owned and operated by Mitchell and Butlers, and consists of over 150 restaurants.
