Bagatelle set for UK debut this spring
International French restaurant group Bagatelle has confirmed it will open its debut UK site this spring.

BigHospitality’s sister title MCA first reported in August that the company, which was founded in New York by French entrepreneurs Aymeric Celemente and Remi Laba, was planning a London opening.

The group is believed to have taken the former Quattro Passi site in Mayfair’s Dover Street.

According to a recent post on the @bagatellelondon Instagram account, the new restaurant will be “an authentic French dining experience” opening in Mayfair in spring 2018.

Bagatelle currently runs 10 restaurants across the world, with sites in Miami, Dubai, Monte Carlo and Ibiza.

The company’s motto is ‘joie de vivre’ and it describes visting its sites as like “stepping back in history into a Provençal café, or an old Parisian apartment".

In its media kit the company says it encapsulates “French Mediterranean lifestyle in atmosphere and cuisine” and its typical guests are “affluent with disposable income”, “influencers”, “food aficionados” and “well-travelled jetsetters”.
