The openings will be the eighth and ninth for the brand, which started out as a sandwich shop in Soho in 1987 and is now an all-day restaurant concept.
The first opening will be a 4,000 sq ft rooftop unit at the Cardinal Place development in Victoria.
The restaurant will trade alongside the likes of Browns, Wagamama and Nando’s, and will have indoor and outdoor seating.
The second opening, a 3,800 sq ft unit at Dickens Yard in Ealing, and will form part of a new development designed to renovate the town’s centre. It will offer a ground floor dining area with outdoor seating.
“The announcement of two new openings from one of Soho’s most beloved eateries shows the brand’s journey from strength to strength,” says Mark Wright, of CDG Leisure, who brokered both deals on behalf of Balans.
“And with the added benefit of the new Crossrail service next year, many new diners will also be able to enjoy what the scheme has to offer.”
Balans opened its newest site last year in Clapham, after like-for-like sales rose 18% following a rebrand in 2016.
