The Arts Club unveils international expansion plans
London private members’ club The Arts Club will open a second site in the capital as well as expand outside of the UK for the first time.

Its first overseas outpost will open will open in Dubai next year in the new ICD Brookfield Place in the heart of the Dubai International Financial Centre district. Split across five stories, it will feature three restaurants and bars, a cigar club, art exhibition spaces and 23,000sq ft of outdoor terracing.

This will be followed by The Arts Club Los Angeles, which will open in 2020 on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. The site will house 14 hotel rooms and have a rooftop swimming pool, screening rooms, restaurants and bars and an art gallery.

A second London The Arts Club will also open in 2020, in Canary Wharf, although no more details have been released on it.

“We feel the time is right to expand beyond London and bring our unique Arts Club offer to a global audience,” says Alice Chadwyck-Healey, executive director at The Arts Club. “The appetite both for first class hospitality and unparalleled art and events programmes is strong in both Dubai and LA, making them the natural choices for our first overseas clubs.”
